Happy Monday everyone!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We had a great Flourish Walk yesterday at Cornelian Bay and over the weekend we surpassed 700 Facebook followers. So welcome to all our new followers. We have some great events coming up over the next few weeks and we'd love to see you! You don't need to be a member to join - feel free to join us at any event that takes your fancy and you are always guaranteed a welcoming bunch of other ladies to chat to.

We still have some tickets left for our fabulous Ladies Day Out - Christmas Gin Masterclass on Sunday 24th November. Don't miss out on this fun event being held at the The Crescent Hotel Hobart. Our last Gin Masterclass was a sell out and I suspect this one will be too, so get in quick. Our Evening With Anna Daisy on the 27th November at the Fern Tree Tavern is sold out. If you are attending, please support the venue by booking a table for dinner or calling in early for a pre show drink. The Fern Tree Tavern can be contacted on 62391171. It's going to be a fabulous night.

I've just uploaded details on our next walk. By request, we are going to do the trek from Seven Mile Beach to Roches Beach and back again (about 8.5kms). We are holding our Christmas party on Saturday the 7th December. I'm still working through the details. So please save the date and hopefully I'll have more info to share in the next few days.

I'm already looking toward 2025 and have some great ideas about different events and travel opportunities. Shortly I'll be sharing a survey so I can get ideas off everyone as to what is going to be the most popular. I'd love your feedback!

Pics attached are from some of our previous events that we've held throughtout the year. It's been very rewarding to see so many new ladies joining us of late - making new connections and having fun. That is our aim after all.

🌟 Save the Date! December 7th, 2024, at 6:00 pm 🌟

Join us for Flourish Events' Inaugural Christmas Angels Party! Let’s celebrate the festive season, the connections that have been made this year (and those still to come), and the joy of giving back to the community. As we gather over a lovely meal (and maybe a dance), we'll be supporting the Hobart City Mission's Joy Drive, bringing a bit of extra help for those Tasmanians in need.

How can you be an Angel?
When you come, please bring a small gift – an unwrapped toy for a child or a voucher (up to $30) – to make a difference for families this Christmas. Vouchers are probably preferable so that I can fit them all in my car! I will be delivering these to the Hobart City Mission on Monday the 9th December.

For those who really want to get into the spirit, I will be giving away prizes for the best dressed if anyone does actually want to take the Christmas Angel theme to the next level.

Who's Invited?
Whether you’ve joined us at a Flourish event as an attendee, a host, a guest speaker are part of our book club or walking group, or simply follow our journey, we’d love to celebrate with you. Basically if you are a lady wanting to have a lovely night out with other women then you are invited. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more details – this is an evening not to be missed!

Ladies! Happy Monday! We have some great events coming up! But you'll have to be quick to secure your tickets.

There are three tickets left to join us at the matinee session of Annie this Saturday at the Theatre Royal at 2pm. Tickets are $80 each or $65 for concession. How long has it been since you went to the theatre? Annie the musical presented by John X is currently on at the Theatre Royal and has had rave reviews! So nice to see so many faces and the glorious sunshine on our Flourish Ladies walk at Risdon Brook Dam this morning. A lot of first timers today too! Thank you all for joining us.

What an incredible day we had at the Cascade Female Factory! It was educational, eye-opening, and truly inspiring as we heard the stories of seven women who were sent there offering us a glimpse into the challenges they faced. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn more about the rich history of Hobart. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Cascade Hotel.

Thanks to all the ladies who joined me today.

Up next, we’ll be walking around Risdon Brook Dam tomorrow as part of our Flourish Walking Group. Don’t forget we have exciting events coming up, including our Christmas gin masterclass and the sold-out session with Anna Daisy at the Fern Tree Tavern!

It’s my birthday today and I witnessed this incredible Aurora this morning so I’m feeling extremely happy and want to share the festivities!
