A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Friends of Flourish!

How stunning are these flowers from I couldn’t resist picking up a bouquet while stopping in to purchase a gift voucher that one lucky guest will have the chance to win ion our upcoming Derwent Estate Winery trip on February 22nd!

While I was there, the wonderful Suze generously donated a beautiful hamper as a raffle prize for our Flourish for a Cause Ladies Lunch at Fellini in March. All proceeds from the raffle, along with a portion of ticket sales, will go directly to , supporting women in our community.

Suze has been a supporter of Flourish Events since our very first gathering, and we are truly grateful for her ongoing generosity. Happy February Everyone.

Gosh time goes fast when you're having fun - and we have been having HEAPS of fun lately with all of our Flourish ladies. Our schedule for February and March is jam packed with lots of different events so there's more fun to be had and there is absolutely something for everyone including a newly released Ladies Luncheon in March at the beautiful Fellini restaurant to help raise funds for Dress for Success Tasmania.

Expressions of Interest! Our next ladies trip away!

I’m in the planning stages of a Flourish ladies weekend getaway to Adelaide this Autumn (after Easter), and I’d love to know who’s interested! Think winery tours, bustling markets, the charming German village of Hahndorf, and a relaxing trip down the Murray River on an old paddle steamer. Of course you’d be joined by other wonderful women on this trip and the best bit - I’ll organise all the activities.

I’d just like to gauge how many ladies think this is something they might be interested in? comment below if you’d like to hear more (no obligation to come) and I’ll let you know when and where to join us for an info session.

Tasmanian author and all round beautiful human Mary-Lou Stephens launched her latest novel “The Jam Maker” tonight at the Henry Jones Hotel. Myself and a few of the other Flourish ladies were lucky enough to attend. Mary-lou has been a big supporter of Flourish and has previously joined us for a Q and A session in relation to her previous novel “The Chocolate Factory”. I’ve just started reading The Jam Maker - set on Hobart’s waterfront and am already sucked in. If you like reading you must check out Mary-Lou and her latest book “The Jam Maker”. 40 days till our ladies Carnival cruise - when 20+ Flourish ladies will set sail on the high seas together. I’m so excited - Didn’t know couriers worked on public holidays but I’ve just had a massive delivery arrive and it contains all the contents for our Flourish girls trip goody bags. Here’s a sneak peek of our luggage tags but I’ll keep the rest to myself so I don’t ruin the surprise for our cruise ladies!

15 wonderful ladies joined us this morning for our Walk and Talk at Bellerive, followed by coffee at Cocomo+co! 9 of the ladies today were first timers and it was so lovely to see some new faces and new connections formed! Our next walk will be scheduled soon as well as some other social events on sale next week.

What a fantastic day filled with creativity, laughter, and beautiful blooms! 🌷 Each of these amazing women brought their own unique touch to their dried flower arrangements, and the results were simply stunning.

Less than 50 days till our Flourish ladies cruise. In March, a group of more than 20 of us ladies are setting sail on the Carnival Luminosa. Our personalised lanyards arrived in the mail this week and I’m so pleased with how they turned out. Can’t wait for the rest of the goodies to arrive. The Flourish ladies will be hard to miss!

Some of you may know that I used to be a European tour guide (and in Australia for a short time). If you were wanting to go on a group trip with other ladies where everything was organised for you, which destinations would be on the top of your list?

Our first birthday celebration is coming up. It’s not just about Flourish though, it’s a chance to celebrate all the ladies in this group - the connections already made and the connections that are waiting to happen. Ladies! It’s time to take the leap!

At Flourish, we create opportunities for women to get together, make new friends and have fun.

Whether you’re new to Tassie or been here all your life, we’d love to see you. No matter where you’re at in life—single, dating, married, somewhere in between, or blazing your own path—we welcome you with open arms.

We know there are many women who follow our posts, curious but nervous about attending their first event. If that sounds like you, take the leap—we promise you’ll be greeted with kindness, warmth, and plenty of friendly faces. We’re all about bringing women together to celebrate the unique journeys we’re all on.

The ladies in this photo took the leap last weekend for our Melbourne Girls Trip! Most of us met for the first time in Melbourne and it was fabulous. You can take the leap too! We’d love to see you soon!

It’s our first birthday next month and you’re all invited to our birthday party. I’m still finalising the details but save the date for 22 February!
