🌟 Spreading Christmas Cheer with Hobart City Mission 🌟

Today, I had the privilege of volunteering at the Hobart City Mission, supporting Tasmanians in need this festive season. It was heartwarming to see the incredible generosity of our community, including the contributions from our wonderful Flourish ladies! 💖

As the countdown to Christmas continues, there’s still a need for gifts to bring joy to children aged 0-2 and 13+. If you’d like to help, you can donate your unwrapped gift this week to the Hobart City Mission Distribution Centre in Moonah.

Every gift makes a difference in creating a brighter Christmas for those who need it most. 🎄✨

DRIED FLOWER ARRANGEMENT WORKSHOP - TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Ladies I'm pleased to let you all know that the tickets are now live for our dried flower workshop being held on the 19th January 2025. Make not one but two bouquets to take home or to give as gifts.

Tickets for this event would also make a great Christmas present!

No experience necessary - the lovely Claire from Forage Flowers will take you through the process and provide all the materials. (You just need to bring a vase for your large bouquet.

And as always at Flourish Events, you'll get to chat, mingle and make new friends with a great bunch of other ladies.

Thanks to the Flourish Christmas angels, we have so many presents and vouchers to drop off to the Hobart city mission tomorrow for their Christmas Joy Drive. These will be distributed to Tasmanian families over the next few weeks. Thank you all for your generosity. ❤️❤️❤️

And that’s a wrap on our first Flourish Christmas party. What an incredible bunch of ladies. Flourish bingo was a hit. We got some fabulous donations for the Hobart city mission joy drive and it was a really wonderful night. Thanks to everyone for coming along and also to the Queens Head for hosting us in their upstairs private function room. The meals and service were amazing.

🌸 Sneak Peek: January is Blooming with Excitement! 🌸

I’m thrilled to share a sneak peek of one of our fabulous January events! 🎉

On January 19th – International Flower Day – Claire from Forage Flowers in Cambridge will be joining us to host a dried flower arrangement workshop exclusively for Flourish ladies!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
🌼 Create two stunning dried flower bouquets to take home. (One large, one small)
🌸 Claire will provide everything you need (just bring your favorite vase!).
🍴 Enjoy nibbles while you mingle, laugh, and connect with an amazing group of women.

No experience necessary - This is the perfect way to kick off the new year with creativity, fun, friendships and being brave enough to try something new! 💐

If you've been considering joining our girls trip to Melbourne to see Tina the Musical next month (before it closes on 26th Jan), there are only 2 hotel rooms left and just 3 days until we close off the bookings.

The rooms can be booked single or twin - if you are booking twin share on your own it will cost you $785 and I will buddy you up with another lady from our group. If you are wanting a single room, it will cost you $1020 and you have your room all to yourself. If you are wanting to join with a girlfriend you just let me know you want to share with a friend.

Remembering Sarah

We are deeply saddened to share that Sarah, one of our lovely Flourish ladies, passed away on Friday. Some of you may remember her from our Sip and Paint session earlier in the year where her laughter and light filled the room. I know she spoke to many of our Flourish ladies at that event and she had so much fun meeting everyone.

Sarah was a brave and inspirational warrior, and her warmth touched everyone she met. Rest peacefully, Sarah.

✨About last night!✨

We had a full house at the wonderful Fern Tree Tavern last night for “An Evening With Anna Daisy.”

We were so lucky to have the fabulous Anna Daisy share her time and wonderful insights with us. From her inspiring stories to the warm, engaging atmosphere she created, it was an event to remember with lots of laughs as well as positivity!

There was a great vibe in the room with lots of lively conversation so a big thank you to everyone who came along! It Was lovely to meet so many wonderful people.

This was our second last event for the year. Just one more to go before Christmas!
