Home Care By Abigail Ticknor My private business of home care to the elderly/youngsters. It all started with my grandmother who had Alzheimer's disease. I am also familiar with cancer.

I care for her for almost 10 years up until her passing late of 2014. Because of her and because I love to help others, I went back to school to get my Bachelors degree in Gerontology. I am a very loving, caring, and very flexible person, who loves to work with others. I have experience with bed sores, lifting the proper way, bear hugging if necessary, CPR, transporting. I am extremely familiar wi

th Alzheimer's disease, Dementia, Seizures, and Dravet Syndrome, and as many would call it "regular old aging". You name it I probably have some type of experience with it.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity of caring for my grandmother. I gained a great deal of experience on knowing how to care for someone who has Alzheimer's disease. Because of her I went back to college and got my Bachelor degree in Gerontology. If I had to change anything I wouldn't because I loved every minute of it.
