We had the most amazing vacation thanks to Kathy and Steve from Askari Safari. They set up an amazing safari itinerary in Zimbabwe and then worked with a partner group, Wine Escapes, to visit South Africa. Each location they set up for us had safe, comfortable and friendly accommodations with world class staff, service and foods. Our safari guides were well informed and fun and we saw more animals and games than we could have every dreamed of. In addition to the game runs we were able to experience and embrace local culture and customs, visit a local school, many wine tastings and many points of interest. This truly was the trip of a life time and one we will remember and talk about for many years to come. I highly recommend Askari Safari to plan your trip to Africa!

A very fun group of Askari Safari clients travelling to Old Drift Lodge Victoria Falls,Zambezi National Park,Imvelo Safari Lodges, Hwange National Park and soon onto Cape Town and the garden route for a fabulous two week adventure! Hopefully more pictures to follow from this in real time safari.

Day four, 2am lions roaring nearby. So you know who was up and waiting at the lodge at 4:30, we finally left camp at 6 and soon caught up with the pride, 4 females' with four 5month old cubs. The cubs were very shy but the pride male was so full he didn't want to run away so we got some great shots of the pride. We stayed with the lions from sun up until about 8am... In the afternoon we had a relaxing boat cruise up the Linyanti River..
