Hello Deaf or Asl Movie Fans

I decide to reset this page again to get together to go movie with close caption or rear mirror or others.... NOW THERE HAVE A DIGITAL WITH CLEAR CC... in walled lake on 14 miles.... it amazing experience.. my boyfriend Scott did talked to assist manager and give good feedback bout dts with cc... and he say that it first time they use with movie called SNOW WHITE... O

MG it awesome dts with cc... better than other cc with burring...

i decide to get most deaf to see that walled lake theather is trying to set up dts with caption which movie and cc in one cd so we dont have to stuggle with cant see cux cc burring into white background.. give me time i will ask someone to help me to explain better on this

any question let me know.... SMILE

LET GET TOGETHER AND BRING MORE DEAFIES TO THIS WALLED LAKE SO THEY CAN ADD MORE THEATHER ROOM WITH CC!!

Would that mean we should "restart" the Deaf Movie Goer Club?

Anyone know if Emagine gives out a schedule of open caption movies in advance to make planning things better? I'm sure a lot of us would like to watch Star Wars in open captions, but unsure WHICH Wednesday it's showing!

Who remembers this pic published in DeafCAN newsletter in June 2004?

Now introducing.... new social club for the deaf.... the Deaf MovieGoer Club. We get together mostly at Emagine in Novi, Michigan for open caption movies, then afterwards go to a restaurant in the area to socialize. We started this group to show theathers that we are serious about wanting open caption movies in the area! We are hoping our club will allow other local theathers to start showing open caption films as well.

This club was founded by Scott Powers after talking to Paul Glantz, owner of Emagine about opportunities to network with more Deaf people in the area.
