The Alabama Premier Academy's SPEED, AGILITY & BASEBALL TRAINING, is preparing players for their upcoming season. We have 2 hours of nonstop training & conditioning. We will train this Saturday from 9-11 am at Geaux Play in Pelham. The address is 301 Southgate Dr. The cost is $30 (it is tax deductible), that covers 8 hours of monthly training. THERE MAY BE PLAYERS WITH MORE TALENT, BUT NEVER LET THEM OUT WORK YOU!

Currently, teams participating are from Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri & Illinois. The National Championship Game will be held in Ft. Meyers, Fl in July. The Alabama Colts Baseball Club will have workouts tomorrow 1/3 at Geaux Play in Pelham from 9-11. The cost to workout is $30 for the entire month of January (that's 8 hours of training and instructions). Workouts are for any baseball players that want to get ready for their upcoming season. APA is pleased to announce that Garrett Walters, currently a catcher at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, will be working out with the Alabama Colts Baseball Club teams during his Christmas break. Garrett will be sharing his experience as a Division I player in addition to working with our catchers. Garrett's brother Jake is currently a freshman pitcher at the University of Alabama. The Alabama Colts Baseball Club will begin our workouts Saturday from 9-11 am at the Geaux Play Facility in Pelham. All 3 of our teams will be working out. The workout will consist of speed, agility, conditioning, fundamentals and hitting. You get better in the off season. "We are Building Champions on the Field and In LIFE!"

The Alabama Colts Baseball Club 16u & 17u teams will hold tryouts November 8-9, 10-12:30 pm at Veterans Park in Alabaster, Al. These tryouts will be for the 2015 spring/summer and 2016, 2017 & 2018 graduates. This past year our team played in showcase events at the following locations: LA-Monroe (Perfect Game Super25), Birmingham Southern, Samford & U of South Alabama. We will add several PG events as well as several college showcase events. Serious players only that are committed to playing baseball at the next level. Coach Brooks,
I really enjoyed watching your team play at our showcase event in July. You have some very talented players.
Our first Prospect Camp of the year is coming up on Sunday, August 31, 2014 (the day before Labor Day). The camp is for 2015-2018 high school graduates. It is an excellent opportunity for your players to be showcased in front of numerous schools. These events have been a huge success for us over the years, having signed 21 players to play for us here at the University of South Alabama after they had attended one of these events. In addition to our coaching staff, there are usually 12-25 other collegiate coaches in attendance to evaluate the talent. Other schools that normally participate include Faulkner State CC, Darton College. Bishop State CC, Chipola CC, Pensacola State CC, Huntingdon College, Spring Hill College, University of Mobile, MS Gulf Coast CC, Tallahassee CC, Baton Rouge CC, Pearl River CC, East Central MS CC, Southwest MS CC, Meridian CC as well as others. The cost is very reasonable at only $125.
There are two identical sessions for the day (9:00-1:00 and 2:00-6:00) - the players simply choose the session that best fits their schedule. They can sign up online at http://jagbaseballcamps.com.

The Alabama Colts Baseball Club 10u team will have tryouts August 10, 2014, from 2-4 pm at Sandlot Field in Alabaster (10601 County Rd 17). We are a competitive organization that is looking for players and families that are committed to the process. We are planning to play on the 10AA-10AAA level in the Fall/Spring 2014-2015 and will play 4-5 tournaments in the fall.
