Happy Friday!!! Sometimes the littles things make us happy. Read my latest blog to find out how.

When the sun goes down, the moon reflects this beautiful luminescent shimmer off the ocean. According to the bible, God created lights in the sky to separate day from night. These lights would be used for signs, seasons, days, and years. They (the sun and moon) would give light to the earth. The bri...

Hello and I am glad you found me!

I am Roseland, and I travel, write, and take plenty of photos of the different cities and countries I travel to around the world.

This is my partner in crime Rodney, and he has the absolute pleasure of joining me on my adventures when his job allows him to. I have had the travel bug since I have been a teenager, however, Rodney is a late bloomer, but nonetheless, he has become addicted as well. He is very supportive in my endeavors and with his backing I have started Ketour Travel.

In my current job, I manage systems and process improvements as a Project Manager. I thought about doing this for the rest of my life, but living my best life means traveling, interacting and learning about other people, cultures, and local history. Just recently, Rodney and I traveled around South Africa and Egypt. Wherever we go we get into great discussions with the local people and learn about the history of these great countries. Such as Mounir, where we conversed while eating dinner at FelFela in downtown Cairo or talking to Johnny who drew the eye picture at the Guga Sthebe Arts and Cultural Centre in the Langa Township in South Africa.

My blog is for those of you who are interested in traveling and learning about different countries around the world. Through reading this blog you will gain a different insight to travel, which is one that is focused on the hands-on interactions rather than a hands-off perspective of a true foreigner. You will also learn the truth, as I do not sugar coat things just to make people feel better about the state of the country. My account will not be spun to sensationalize anything, rather it will be based upon the real perspective of the local people and how I am perceived within the country.
