We are excited to be selected as a beneficiary of Payette Brewing’s Kegs 4 Kause program! Not only will our organization be featured in their Tap Room, they also will be donating half of the proceeds from draft beer sales directly to us on Monday, June 10th from 6-10pm! We hope to see you there!!

Many of you amazing people helped us to raise over $80,000 for people in need of clean water with our 105 Mile Walk in 2022.

This year over 100 incredible students at 11 different schools are doing great work to help people who need it with their own water fundraisers through Vivid Roots Collective.

Women’s history month starts today!
It has us thinking about an incredible woman who has played a vital role in the success of our organization, Jessica Sagastume.
Jessica has been our project coordinator in Guatemala for the last 5 years. Her tenacity for change, hard work and dedication to her community are only a few of the wonderful things about her. She is strong, loving and makes this world a better place. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Jessica, share one of your favorite things about her in the comments!

We are so excited to share the first major update on the community project that the Hawthorne Elementary fundraiser supported completely for the community of Escalon Arriba in Guatemala.

The community does have nearby access to water, however, they currently have no way to store it.

During the summer months, the source dries up and it means that they have to travel further to collect water, making it more difficult and time-consuming.

They use the water for drinking, cooking, and farming

The amazing students at Hawthorne will provide 40 families (about 200 people) with large water holding tanks that will allow for each household to store plenty of drinking water during the dry summer months.

This support allows them to have water available at their home when they need it.

It also means that women and children will spend less time collecting water, and will help keep students healthy and in school!
