The first steps of the rebuild are underway! We have removed both engines, cage and all old wiring. Everything had to be weighed for future stability calculations. The outboards we will be putting on will be much lighter and will effect the center of gravity meaning we may have to rearrange seating and helm locations. We have removed over 2000lbs of engines and rigging. Now time to do some drawings, calculations and work with Coast Guard to formulate a plan. Both 454 marine engines are for sale along with the jet pump if anyone is interested.

The Wild Goose was purchased in February in Northern Illinois. We hired a flatbed truck with oversized load permits to haul it to gailsville to Gale Marine LLC where it is getting a face-lift and a repower. Originally the boat was powered by a 454 inboard jet, and also a 454 air fan. It is 25.5' long and 12' wide and is currently certified to haul 24 passengers and 2 crew members. After many discussions about the best use for the boat it was decided to remove the old engines and repower with outboards.
