Some of the end of summer crop from the garden. 4 bags of perfect tomatoes, 2 bags of peppers, a bag of sweet potatoes, more squash, apples, melons, and eggplant that is ready to pick. Lots of brussel sprouts in another month.

The home owners did a fantastic job of creating a true “home away from home” experience. So many special touches, from the beautiful decor, to generous outdoor seating, to freshly cut flowers throughout the house! The pictures of the outdoor landscaping do not lie; it’s beautiful! I have stayed at several VRBO locations throughout the country, and I’ve never seen homeowners make such an effort to make you feel at home. Thank you, Chris and Richard. Your efforts were greatly appreciated by my entire family. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at this beautifully renovated cottage. A perfect place to relax and unwind. Beautiful views, great deck and yard for grilling out, enjoying the lake views and sunsets, and having a bonfire. Thanks to the owners, Richard and Chris, for the welcome wine and candy, flexibility and quick responses to all communication.

Beautiful setting with lots of privacy. Worked out great for 3 couples (except for the twin beds, but the sunsets made up for it). Very private beach - quiet, lovely backyard with adirondack chairs, a swing, firepit, and flowers everywhere. Totally enjoyed relaxing on the back porch. Beautifully decorated. Rained so we didn't get to try out the watersports, but drank a lot of wine to make up for it. Highly recommend this quiet little home and hope to come back.

Lake home of my dreams!

This house and property is absolutely breathtaking. The inside is exactly what I'd dream of a lake house looking like with everything we could have needed or wanted. As for the outside, phenomenal doesn't even begin to cover it. Other words that come to mind are amazing, unbelievable, dreamy, and I could go on. The decks and outdoor seating areas are exactly as they should be. Every place we'd want to hang out offered the perfect furniture for just that. The lake views are absolutely stunning. And the gardens. I don't think I can even begin to describe these. They are something similar to what you'd see at a grand estate with a full-time gardening staff. We have already started talking about going back to this house. Which is a big deal for us. We've rented probably 15+ houses over the years and never really found one worth returning to. I could return to this house every weekend and still be amazed. If you're considering staying here do yourself a favor and just book it. The owners were very responsive and helpful. There's cute towns very close. The stars here were amazing. And it's very easy to get to. All in all, we love love loved this place. My hat is off to the owners. It feels right off HGTV.

This wonderful house is full of delightful surprises inside and out. Every detail has obviously been so carefully planned - from the perfect outdoor seating for watching the water and sunsets, to the gorgeous flowers, to the comfortable bedrooms, even down to the charming and interesting trinkets on the bookcases. The fenced yard makes relaxing in the backyard easy with pets or children. There is truly something at this house for everyone in the family to enjoy. Our ten year old son said it perfectly when he said that it was worth "all the hard work" (I evidently made it look harder than it was) to pack everything up and get there. It was clear that Richard and Chris care very much about this house and the experience that everyone has there.
