MISSION: The Blue Coast Artists is a juried group of working studio artists joined together for the purpose of promoting, creating, educating and enhancing public appreciation of art.

HISTORY: Celebrating their 33rd year in 2022. Their current membership includes eight working studios, galleries and showrooms.

The Blue Coast Artists were the first group in the region to publish a studio guide and to offer hands-on demonstrations as an educational tool that provides a behind-the-scenes into the studios of working artists. The demonstrations take place during an annual event known as the Blue Coast Artists’ Annual Fall Tour of Studios. The tour started as a way to show customers how a work of art was made and continues to show visitors how work takes shape and to further their understanding of the commitment it takes to make art. In the mid 1990’s the tour was opened to the general public and has grown to attract over 2,000 visitors in two days.
