For Munmazhalai (PreK) students, classes take place from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Sundays.

Announcements

Austin Tamil School has decided to move its location. Effective from August-2024, all Tamil classes will be conducted at Basis Cedar Park(165, N Lakeline Blvd, Cedar Park, TX-78613) on Sunday from 10:30-12 PM (Munmazhalai from 10:30-11:30) This is a strategic move for our Tamil school to grow in the future.

As we are wrapping up this year on May-12, the registration for next year for an existing student will open on May-17 and close on May-31 at the Student Access Center portal. The fee for an existing student *$225 until May-31 . In case of late registration, the fee is $275 but the seat is not guaranteed, and they will be waitlisted. The registration will open for new student (with a fee of $275) on June-1 and end as soon as each class capacity gets full. All the above-mentioned fees are one time non refundable.

We understand many of you may have summer travel plan hence we recommend you to complete the registration as soon as possible. Thank you and looking forward to 2024-25 academic year in our new location.

We sincerely appreciate your enthusiastic response and support. We are delighted to inform you that we have received an overwhelming number of admissions for the academic year 2023-24. As Austin Tamil School operates within the confines of a school venue, our admission capacity is limited by the available classroom space. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we have reached our threshold and are unable to accommodate any further new registrations.

We kindly request that you continue teaching Tamil to your children at home and consider registering them with us next year. Rest assured; we are actively working with the school administration to secure additional classrooms for 2024-25 to meet the growing demands of our community.

We truly value your interest in our school and your commitment to preserving the Tamil language and culture. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you and your children in the future.

Austin Tamil School Annual Day held on March 11 th at Liberty High School Performing Arts Center. Austin Tamil School students from MunMazhalai (Pre-K) to Nilai-8 (Grade 8) showed their Tamil Language skills through various forms such as rhymes, story-telling, skits, debates, and a Tamil Music Orchestra. Thanks to Tamil School Teachers and Parents making this a grand success.

As part of their annual project, the Nilai 5B students of Austin Tamil School have constructed models of Kallanai, Thanjai Periya Kovil, and other notable landmarks. These models will be showcased during the upcoming Annual Day event. Such projects allow students to not only improve their language skills but also delve deeper into Tamil culture.

As we look ahead to the holiday season, we are mindful that there are those who are much less fortunate than we are. In keeping with that, Austin Tamil School held a food drive on Dec 11th to support Round Rock Area Serving Center, and our Austin Tamil School kids, teachers and parents participated and showed that they have mastered Art of giving. We collected tons of food.

Thank you for your generosity. We are sure that the people who receive our donations will be extremely grateful.
