Melissa's Cultural Cooking Classes My passion for culture, community and cuisine led me to consider having small classes in my home. My motto: learn, experience and eat! Spices fascinate me!

Having been born, raised and traveled many different countries outside of the United States, I acquired a "taste", literally and figuratively speaking, for a diversity of ethnic culture and cuisines. Through the years, my passion for cooking, cultures and their cuisine have expanded. Bringing me to this point in life, were I to "choose a career", money not being an issue, I would travel the world

exploring cultures and the history as well as the outside influences of their cuisine. Spending time with the culture , learning about their local spices and ingredients experiencing how to prepare meals the community would partake in. Their smells, tastes, textures, and uses awaken my senses~ bringing me great pleasure. I am amazed how The Creator of Life, gave us these gifts of spices to enjoy! Such diversity and flavors! I greatly desire to share this information and experience with others. After all, life is ultimately about relationships and community, First and foremost with our Creator and second with others. My Passions are in this order, my Creator, community/culture and cuisine. Blessings as you grow in your experience of these 3.

I also made jasmine rice (failed to take a picture).
