Passion Play, Oberammergau, Germany and Eastern Europe July 2020
Postponed to July of 2022!!
The covid pandemic has postponed the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany until 2022. Our trip will be sometime in July, probably in the later part. We may be able to add a few travelers if you are interested. It is a wonderful trip through a great part of Europe and highlighting the Passion Play.
Many of you have wondered about the status of the trip to see the Passion Play this summer. As of now it has been postponed until 2022. We will be in contact with all signed up travelers. Stay safe, stay home, and God bless.

Certainly enjoyed our recent trip to Vietnam & Cambodia. Long way to go but enjoyed both countries. Part of the trip was a river cruise which we enjoyed very much. Usually one or two stops each day. Spent 2 days in Siem Reap visiting Angkor Wat one day and a second day at Bayon Temple and Angkor Thom. This total complex is the the largest religious area in the world. It was initially built in the 11th century as a Hindu religious site. It later became a Buddist complex. It was then lost due to overgrowth for some time and rediscovered much later. It is what most people probably go to Cambodia to see. Due to all the walking done I came home feeling much stronger that I was before we went!
We came home with very positive thoughts about Vietnam. People are welcoming, industrious, and hard working. Fields are green, growing 2 or 3 crops of rice per year. The country is the fifth largest exporter of rice in the world.
Motor scooters are the mail method of transportation and by far, most wear helmets! To cross streets, one must step out and they will not hit you!
Hot and sweaty but worth it. My curling iron was not cooperating so I had a SE Asia hair style and did just fine.

Two years from now we will be leading our third trip to the world-renowned Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany. It occurs every 10 years and has for almost 400 years. Millions have chosen to relive Jesus’ last week as performed by a cast of over 600, a full orchestra and 60-voice chorus.
Demand for tickets and housing in the small town of Oberammergau is very high. Therefore, we are letting you know this early that is it not too soon to consider going. Nawas, our trusted travel agent, was the largest US operator to the Play in 2000 and 2010.
This trip includes several scenic sites in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, and Germany. We hope you’ll consider going with us. Miss this one and you’ll have to wait until 2030!

At Jacobs well, could you get me some water??? You too could have had the chance, don't miss your next opportunity to have fun on a trip when we go on an Eastern European water ways trip in November.
The Cathedral in Rouen had a light show each evening. The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes. This is just a small portion. To call it a light show does not do it justice. It's a projection onto the cathedral and it was spectacular! Definitely a highlight of the trip.
