High Desert ATV Memories New policy for High Desert ATV Rides LLC. I sold the Can Am that I used for rentals. Below is a description of my goals for High Desert. That's not acceptable.

High Desert ATV Rides LLC does not offer rental ATV's. If you own your machine (or have a rental) and don't know where to ride I can show you around. I only ask that you pay the fuel cost for my truck and my ATV. You are not paying me as a tour guide. We are just people out on a trail ride. We are not limited to one area and the pace and schedule is yours. I'm just there to point out the good trai

ls and sights you probably wouldn't find on your own. This service is excellent for someone on vacation who wants to maximize their trail time and not be wondering where to go. I can take you on a one day ride or as many days as you have time for. There are areas for all skill levels. I want to ride with people that have respect for the trails. Who will stay on existing trails, wont litter and wont disturb the wildlife we see (including snakes). I've been along on rides where someone wanted to find a snake to kill it. Only take pictures and leave nothing but tracks. The areas I can show you range from southeast of Florence to Globe area up to northeast of Roosevelt Lake.

Yesterday morning was 36 degrees and the first frost of the season. This morning it was 34 degrees. The daytime temps are in the low 60's and clear skies. I can live with that.

I had a very nice campsite in Donnelly Wash last week but they were expecting heavy rains. I decided not to tempt fate and moved my camp about 3 miles to Cochran Road. When it did rain on Thursday, it was a slow steady soaker for about 24 hours. There was 1 3/4" in my rain gauge.
I had gone to the river before the rain to see how much water it was running. I went after the rain and was very surprised that it was no higher than before the rain.
It is 38 degrees this morning and supposed to get to 62 and clear skies.
