Since we're volunteers and pay the bills for the site, we'd like to put our effort into what you want, so help us by know what to focus on

Should any of you have technical skills such as SQL, JSON etc - it's possible to get extracts of your journals etc. It's appreciated if you could make a donation of around $50 or so for the time, since we have jobs, hobbies, housework, events to plan, and people who depend on us.

Otherwise there are a few options:

1) Publish a read-only version of your content back online - it's the editing features that a bit faulty
2) Publish the whole thing (warts and all) including faulty logins and notifications (emails, invitations, updates) that no longer work either
3) Focus on an API or data export function that allows you to get your content in a format (to be voted on) that you can use for the text & locations, plus separate photos & videos
4) Improve the site properly - mobile version - modern style, ways to explore places & stories, ways to work out what your itinerary could be for future trips etc etc

Your travel journals and photos are safe... We'll be back and able to provide you with better sharing & privacy options. We had a lot of people complain that their "name visible on the internet" and are overhauling the privacy features.
