Le Dîner en Blanc is an elegant large-scale picnic from Paris that takes place in a secret location, revealed at the very last minute.

Launched nearly 30 years ago in Paris by François Pasquier and his close friends, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris continues to bring more than 10,000 people together each year in some of the French Capital’s most prestigious sites. Over the years, the event has grown in recognition and attendance, taking place at the Pont des Arts, the Champs-Élysées, and the garden of the Palais Royal, amongst others.

In 2013, Le Dîner en Blanc de Paris celebrated its 25th anniversary by gathering nearly 15,000 guests at Le Louvre, in the garden of Trocadero, and in front of the Eiffel Tower. Le Dîner en Blanc wishes to promote friendship and elegance, setting a new standard for chic outdoor events. Built by friends and for friends, Le Dîner en Blanc is a unique event. Now, guests in your city have the chance to be part of this chic and festive experience. It promises to be a can’t-miss event of the year! Le Dîner en Blanc recalls the elegance and glamour of French Court Society. All dressed in white and conducting themselves with the greatest decorum and etiquette, guests gather for a mass “chic picnic” in a public space that is kept secret until just minutes before their arrival. Over the course of the evening, guests from different backgrounds engage one another, experiencing the beauty and value of their city’s public space by participating in the unexpected.
