👎🏼 Not checking the weather before you go.

Your travel day scheduled for a theme park might be a rainy one. Check the weather when your travel date is near so you can still adjust your itinerary.

👎🏼 Not checking what type of plug/outlet is used in your destination.

Adaptors can be expensive especially if you buy them at the airport because you forgot to buy one before flying.

👎🏼 Not researching for the best way to exchange your money.

Don't just mindlessly order US dollars or exchange your money at the airport! Do your research first. To directly exchange your money, just withdraw from an ATM or just use your debit card: check the best way that offers the best rates.

👎🏼 Not checking if you need cash at your destination.

Some countries accept cards in almost every establishment and public transportation however there are still countries that mostly transact with cash only.

Singapore's most iconic structure. It houses a hotel, a mall, a casino, and a Canal inside but the thing that you should not miss to do here is the Skypark Observation Deck.

4. Eat at a Hawker Center

No trip is complete without a food trip. Singapore's variety of food from their different cultures is a feast for the taste buds and you will find the best and the cheapest of them at Hawker Centers. Probably the most popular of them all is Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center.

5. Sentosa Island

If you would spend all your time in Singapore here at Sentosa Island, I'd still think that every minute will be worth it. Sentosa is just a small island off the coast of Singapore mainland but it is certainly packed with activities. It houses Universal Studios Singapore, which is a must in every Singapore itinerary. It also has a Waterpark, Bungee Jump, Ziplines, Luge, and many other activities perfect for Adrenaline Junkies like me.

I would recommend staying at least a night here at Sentosa Island.
