We have officially boarded the plane! Scotland was a bonus and so much fun! The kids loved it and had amazing spirits! We are officially headed home! We had many challenges on the way but everyone powered through it and had great attitudes about it all! We were given many many lemons on this trip and made some great lemonade out of it! Next up US!

A huge thank you to Karyn who works with swissport! She is the most amazing human ever! She never gave up on us. She got us a hotel, food, flights, priority check in, let us skip the line to board the plane and made sure every single one of us got on! We are forever grateful for her and all her hard work on getting most of our luggage back and a flight home all together. What a special person she is! We will miss her and we love her!

Good morning everyone! Well you will never believe the news this morning. On our way home yesterday our group made the first two flights. Our 2nd flight going from Amsterdam to Scotland was running behind by around 25 minutes. When we landed in Scotland we had about 45 minutes to make it to our gate. However, when we made it there our names were no longer on the flight. Some airline either Virgin or KLm took all our names off the flight home. We were not able to board the flight. We are now not able to leave Scotland until Saturday afternoon to get back to Orlando. Apparently around the world right now flights are getting canceled left and right and because of this groups of people have to get rescheduled for flights. There is not even one flight to any other city over here around Europe because everything is booked and filled.

We have a hotel for all the kids, freeeals for all the days and a rebooking for Saturday. Hopefully all goes well for Saturday and we will be on our way home.

Oh and can’t forget we have no luggage. 🙂

We were all a little emotional yesterday but we plan on making it a fun few days here in Scotland!! We are excited to explore the city and look for the Loch Ness monster! 😝

Yesterday we said goodbye to Poland and traveled to Budapest. On our way to Budapest we traveled through the beautiful mountains of Slovakia, where we stopped and had a yummy lunch. Once in Budapest we went on a walking tour around the city, had a little free time to get some goodies and then dinner. Dinner was delicious with some local Hungarian food and a sweet sweet dessert! Today we take on the last day of our trip! So sad it is coming to an end but can’t wait to look forward to 2024 trip to Iceland and 2025 trip to Australia! Don’t miss the sign ups for these trips because they truly are amazing and the kids enjoy it, even with some unfortunate travel events. Stay tuned for are pictures from today!!!

Poland!! What a blast we had! The past two days we have been in Krakow, Poland. The first day we we had our first little bit of rain. That did not stop us! We started off the day taking a walking tour of the center of Krakow. On the tour we saw Wawel Hill, Glowny Square, St. Mary’s Church and Wawel Cathedral. The views were spectacular! We ended our day with an amazing dinner in an underground restaurant! Can you guess what we had? Pierogies!!!!

Yesterday we had a very early morning in Poland. We had a 4 hour tour of Auschwitz. This tour was something that can not be describe in words. All I can say is that if you can go do it. The information we learned on this tour was way more in depth than what we learn in the states. After our tour we stopped at a fun restaurant called Skansen Smakow. Delicious and beautiful stop! We then continued our day back in central Krakow and able to explore on our own. Many kids went shopping and got some fun things, had local food, went to LARP(live action role playing) with locals and then a group of gals go the big gift in Poland, which were ducks! Don’t forget the parents on the trip! They had a blast shopping, watching the Euro Olympics that were taking place, went and tried some potato pancakes at the Milk Bar, and had some fun drinks! Milk Bars are located all around Poland and have their own names! Is was a busy two days but filled with so much adventure and fun! We are excited for our next adventure in Budapest the next two days!

Oh my goodness what a world wind of days! If you know anything about traveling you know anything can happen! Monday our summer trip group left for their trip. What came after was unexpected. Monday we faced a 4 and a half hour delay in Orlando on the tarmac. Once out we had a great flight to London. We missed however our layovers. Our group had to get separated to get to Berlin. Half of the group made it to Berlin Tuesday and the other group faced many challenges with airline mistakes and couldn’t make it to Berlin till Monday morning. The second group stayed in London for the night and enjoyed the city. Although the London visit was not what it seemed. By the time we got everything settled it was 12pm and no time for a hotel. We all decided to rally and have a good time by going to the center of London until 3:30 am and then make it back to the airport at 4:30 four our flight to Berlin! It was a night to remember and we all had a blast and made unforgettable memories! Once landed in Berlin on Wednesday the airlines also messed up our luggage and none of our bags were delivered. This did not kill the spirits of the kids. The past few days on are trip have been nothing but amazing! The group leader and chaperone worked hard all day and night to get the luggage as soon as possible. Today sitting on the bus, on our way to Poland, we have all the bags back in the group except for 1.
Although we had these issues with the flight and baggage the group has made unforgettable memories and all of the kids and adults Made the best out of it. This trip will be one for the books and never forgotten. The group never complained once about their bags. We all were in it together and made the best out of it which made the trip even better. This is a very very rare incident. you never know what happens with traveling but you have to make the most out of it.

Sorry for the late update about our trip. Have been super busy the past few days with managing getting the bags back and going back and forth to the airports to get the bags! Here are a few pics of the trip so far!

In New Zealand, we will travel to Rotorua, where we will watch a sheep and dog show at the Agrodome, a 350-acre working farm, one of NZ’s most beloved attractions. Next, we will take a
duck tour, which is an amphibious bus, to explore the lakes and WWII history on NZ. Then we will take a tour of a geothermal park, where we will see vividly colourful alkaline pools, milky acidic pools, boiling waterfalls, hissing steam vents, and bubbling mud pools. Add in visiting a Māori Village for a traditional hāngi feast and taking a gondola ride, and our travelers will get to learn all about what make New Zealand unlike any place on earth.

One of the benefits of traveling with our group is enrollment remains open until about 3 month prior to departure. Traveling to Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii has been a dream for so many students for years, so spots are available to high school AND college students (as well as parents!). The trip is 2 years away, but that gives you time to save, make plans, and start making affordable monthly payments. Please reach out with any questions.
