FIRST DAYS ATTRACTION :....MADAYI PARA- EZHIMALA , You can fix a one day trip to Madayipara-Ezhimala about 25km away from Kannur town, Where you can see various species like plants,birds, butterflies,flowers in a vast area like a play ground in a single rock situated very higher than sea level,you can visit Vadukunda temple a historically important temple, and a lake in front of temple and near to very famous Madayi Kavu. A famous Mosque buld by Malik Iban Dinar in 12th century is situated at madayi.From there move towards west you can reach Eazhimal about 10 km away from madayi asmall hill besides the sea at about hight of 900 feet very closed to sea surrounded by 3 sides.Asias biggest Naval Academy is situated there.At the top of the hill when you turn to left side about 500 mtr away you can reach a beautiful beach from you can enjoy a full day with your family by fabulous view of river and sea. On return proceed towards hill top you can see a big gigantic statue of Hanuman and a temple there.On the top of the hill you can watch an extra ordinary attraction,combination of high hill and beautiful beach has made Ezhimala a popular tourist resort. A wealth of rare medicinenal herbs is also found in Ezhimala and and surrounding areas.
