Measures for the Future - Dedicated to bringing music to children - one measure at a time.

Measures for the Future is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music to disadvantaged children all over the United States. We are organized completely by high school and college students, and have branches in Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Alabama. We visit homeless shelters, libraries, community centers, and other venues where we can perform for and teach children who aren

't usually exposed to the music that we love. So far, we have performed for the children at:
- The Horizons for Homeless Children (Roxbury, MA)
- Project Hope (Dorchester, MA)
- Brookview House "Above and Beyond" (Dorchester, MA)
- The Ronald McDonald House (Durham, NC)
- Children's Hospital Boston (Boston, MA)
- The Carolina Homeless Shelter (Marshfield, MA)

We have also established ongoing programs at:
- The Greater Boston YMCA - Dorchester, MA
- The Boys and Girls Club - Brockton, MA
- The Brockton Day Nursery - Brockton, MA
