Our trip to Russia
We traveled to Russia twice. First to adopt Aliona and Maria, two sisters that were then 12 and 13. Two years later Aliona and Maria went with us to return to Russia to adopt Irina and Daniel 12 and 14. We went to St. Petersburg while we waited for paperwork to clear and watched a Russian ballet and visited tourist sights. We also visited sights in Moscow including a Russian circus, the amazing underground transit, a huge market, and museums with the wealth of the czars on display. My favorite visit was in the country where we had dinner with one of the escorts that had come to America with the kids when we met them. We have been blessed with all our children, and love them all.
