💫 Let’s talk Magical Extras 💫

We were lucky enough to spend Joseph’s 6th birthday in the happiest place on earth. We wanted to do something special to celebrate the day so we decided to make a reservation for Droid Depot.

Droid depot is located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios. If you have never been to Galaxy’s Edge it is a must see! It is extremely immersive and makes you feel like you are in a galaxy far far away…

First the boys got to choose which droid they wanted to build, then we moved to the conveyor belt where they got to choose the pieces themselves. Next, with the help of a very knowledgeable cast member we built our droids at our own workstation. The boys loved being able to activate their droids!

For an additional $15 we also got to listen to, and choose a personality for each droid and watch them come to life!

💡A cool tip- When you are carrying your droid through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge it will interact with certain landmarks. And if you purchased two, like we did, they will interact with each other! Joseph and Chase had so much fun playing with their droids back at the hotel. They even named them Walt and Disney 🥰

Staying at the Grand Floridian? If not, consider stopping by and trying Citricos! Inspired by the movie Mary Poppins Returns, Citricos is elegant and delicious.
They offer flavorful upscale courses like these Guava-barbequed short ribs and the chocolate torte for dessert. 🥂
Besides the delicious food the ambiance here was top notch! Every detail carefully thought out and executed.
