Anyone who visits Butre will not forget the gold sands and blue waters. Butre is located in the Western Region of Ghana. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

A group of friends decided to plan a trip for our dear friend who was celebrating their birthday. We laughed, danced, ate well and did some soft adventures throughout our week there.

Here are a few moments of our time at Butre, Beach. I hope it inspires to check this destination out.

Hello Nomads,

During my time in Cote D'Ivoire, I went to Grand Bassam, a popular beach town. Many people from Abidjan head over to Grand Bassam to relax for the day or the weekend.

During my time, I visited the French Quarter and check out the local museum. It was a wonderful experience to learn about the many different ethnic groups in Cote D'Ivoire and their contribution then and now. I highly encourage anyone in Cote D'Ivoire to visit this site.

Most of my time in Grand Bassam was by the beach each my favourite, Attiéké.

The Manhyia Palace is the seat of the Asantehene, as well as his official residence. It is located at Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Kingdom and Ashanti Region.

We spent the morning learning about the impact of the Ashanti Kingdom in past and present in West Africa. Our tour did an excellent job in sharing the documented history.
