It’s a little cloudy here in Mexico today, but it’s making for some very dramatic photos as we make our way from Guanajuato to Lake Chapala 😍
It’s been non stop the last two days! I’ve filmed lots and hoping to release a video update later on, but just to keep you all in the loop we set off on Rust 2 Mexico yesterday heading to Guanajuato. Within a few miles of leaving the hotel the Camaro had a breakdown which continued to hold us up for several hours. Once we gout out the city and a few hours into our drive the El Camino overheated for no apparent reason. We made it to Guanajuato around 7pm and all the cars made it and are now running very well! This photo perfectly summarises the day!

It’s been a busy day here in Mexico. The El Camino is in for some work, mainly just service stuff. Still waiting on parts for the Camaro’s gearbox and the Challenger got a very beautiful new exhaust system which sounds glorious! Check out the latest video uploaded here for a more detailed update 👌

Here we have it, the final two part conclusion to the epic Rust 2 Vegas 2023 series... The Cadillac is still going but where to next? As this epic rally comes to a conclusion it'll soon be time to open up applications for the 2024 rally. Meantime, here's an update from sunny Utah. This is a breakthrough with the 1959 Cadillac, but like everyday not without its unexpected obstacles thrown at me out the blue. I also discover that this Cadillac was last on the road in 1982 meaning it’s been off the road my whole life, then I show up and try to make it work in 10 days! It has resisted most of the way, but I think the Cadillac is finally starting to realise, I’m not giving up and we have many miles to drive together starting with the road to Las Vegas… #rust2rome #rust2vegas
