My Year 2024
It's been an epic year taking 192 people and 105 cars on life changing Rust 2 Rome adventures in 2024! I'd like to say a massive thanks to everyone who has taken part on or followed Rust 2 Rome on our adventures during 2024. The best part of these trips are the amazing people we meet along the way and this year was no exception! It's been a tough year too, from the 21 hour drive in the Pearl back from Rome in July, the epic clutch change at Dover campsite to all the behind the scenes organisation that goes on to pull all of this together. Just like any great adventure it's the difficulties that make the reward so great! So here's to bigger and more amazing adventures in 2025... Who's coming along for the ride?

The challenge is to take a car costing no more than £1000 or a car of any value that is 20 years or older on the 2600 mile drive to the incredible sand dunes in Morocco and back! Starting in Portsmouth on the 8th of August 2025 and finishing in Paris on the 24th of August the rally includes 11 nights in hotels and 5 nights on overnights ferries. There are 3 ferries included on the meticulously planned out route. You’ll cross part of the Atlas Mountains which is no easy challenge! 4x4’s aren’t required as you can see from the video. Rust 2 The Sahara has been running since 2016 and taken 100’s of people to the desert! There are only 8 places remaining on the 2025 rally, so sign up now while you still can!
Entry fee is £3495 per person based on two sharing 1 car and hotel rooms and can be paid off monthly. Maximum team size is two per car. Entry includes the following:
