Did you know at Universal Studios Orlando there are different ticket types to consider? Read on to learn more:

One Park Per Day- Just what it sounds like, this ticket means you can visit one park per day with admission. You can leave the park and reenter the same day.

Park-to-Park- With this ticket type you can travel in between Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. As of this post's publication, Epic Universe is not included in Park-to-Park tickets and will need its own single park admission (this is subject to change)

Annual Pass- This pass is good for one calendar year and includes admission to both parks, similar to a Park-to-Park tickets. There are a few different tiers of annual passes, some have more blackout dates than others. Ask your travel agent to help you pick the right one for you!

Special Event Tickets- These tickets are separate from day admission, and are usually required for after hours events like Rock the Universe, Halloween Horror Nights, and Fan Fest Nights.

Epcot's International Festival of the Arts is a celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts, and takes place this year from January 17-February 24, 2025.

Entrance to the festival is included with regular admission to Epcot and takes place during one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is beautiful, and crowds tend to be lower.

Stroll the World Showcase and enjoy artwork from dozens of talented artists, available for purchase, while sampling delicious treats, and be sure to stay in the evening for the Disney on Broadway show!

When crowds are expected at Walt Disney World, there are a few strategies you can use that maximize your day in the parks. One strategy is to Rope Drop, which means getting to the park and getting in line for the most popular rides and attractions early in the day. Here are my best tips for using this strategy to avoid the longest lines and getting more checked off your priority list!

1. Make sure to prioritize those attractions that are the most popular in each park (swipe to the end to see which rides are good to prioritize when you arrive)

2. If you are staying in a Walt Disney World resort, make sure you use your Early Park Entry benefit! This means arriving at the park 30-45 minutes before early entry begins. If you are using Disney transportation, plan on at least 45 minutes travel time. Check MDE to see when Early Entry begins in each park.

3. With Early Entry at Magic Kingdom, only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open, so you will need to head either to Space Mountain or 7 Dwarfs Mine Train to maximize your time.

4. Before you leave for the parks, make sure you have a plan for where you are heading and which attractions you want to Rope Drop.

If your crew are naturally early risers, Rop Dropping is one of the best ways to avoid long lines and really get the most bang for your buck at Walt Disney World! Follow my page for more tips!

If you find yourself needing to do laundry during your stay in a Walt Disney World Resort, you have options! You can either use a self-service laundry facility within the resort, use valet laundry services via housekeeping, or if you're staying in a 1 or more bedroom deluxe villa, you'll have access to a washer and dryer right in your room. Having used the self service option a few times, I can say it's convenient and easy to use, and I love that it allows me to not have to pack quite so many clothes.
