CAPUSAN Beach... Capusan, meaning... "at the very end". This is a cove surrounded by a wide and shallow reef on both sides where a long sand bar is formed at the far end of the cove. This place serves as a nursery area for juvenile fish that are the favorite food for Pacific Reef Egret and White Collared Kingfiher that are often found in this area. There are also occasional sightings of Blue Spotted Sting Rays resting on the sand and a pre-historic Horse Shoe Crub buried in the shallow sandy area.

Capusan is known as a perfect place for kite surfing and is visited by many kite surfing enthusiasts during northeast monsoon that start as early as Noverber until March. In my observation, there are many other water sports that can be done in Capusan such as Wind Surfing, Hobie Cat and Electric Surfboard.

It is also possible to make the day of Capusan look festive where you can set up various beach games such as beach volleyball, pickle ball, corn hole and frisbee. Imagine having all these in a big group event with nice music set up, and your favorite cocktail while immersed in an inflatable pool in the middle of Capusan at sunset...

The goal of Discovering Cuyo Islands is to showcase the history, culture, the beauty of Cuyo and what could be the possible adventure guided services that can be done in Cuyo Islands. When talking about what is the most popular tourist destination in Palawan, the first thing that comes to mind is either El Nido or Coron which really has very beautiful scenery, such as the limestone that provides many activities to tourists, world class beaches, Dive sites and snorkeling spots. But there are many other places here in Palawan that have the potential of becoming a tourist spot with unique views and may also possess interesting adventure activities that visitors can enjoy. One of which is Cuyo Islands where there is so much to discover.
