Great 4th of July in Scotland. Dana and I played North Berwick in the AM, the club made us an awesome chili dog for lunch, played the Wee course with Siena and now an amazing 1030 sunset and bed. TRAVEL WELL GOLF OFTEN GoGolfTours.com

I spent the first day of my 60th year playing two of my favorite courses. There is just something special about Dunbar. Amazing views and some wonderful holes, conditioning is wonderful. North Berwick is simply my favorite course in the world.
I wish i could have played The Glen as well but opted for a nice dinner with Dana and Siena, GREAT day. TRAVEL WELL GOLF OFTEN Gogolftours.com

This is the first fathers day since Mel, my dad, passed. I am so thankful for all of the great times we had.
I was moving files to my new computer recently and came across this note I sent to him in May of 2016 when we were forming GoGolfTours.
I am so glad I sent this to him.

I am on the way back from Scotland. I was over with 7 other guys and we had an amazing time, everything went perfectly. Amazing places, amazing weather, amazing golf (not necessarily in the level of play) amazing comradery and an amazing experience. I had numerous meetings in regards to this summers Scotland Junior Golf Invitational, the North Berwick Cup trip and other upcoming tours, all of which are not just going forward, but are thriving.
This all started with you inviting Jeff and I to go to Scotland 28 years ago. No where near how I thought I would first go to Europe but it has become not just something really fun, but a huge part of my and my families life. It is my current passion and has become a very nice income source and a huge source of pleasure for my family and me. I can’t say for sure how big this will become, but it is going well and is trending very positively.
I want you to know how many people and times I tell the story of my dad coming up with this little known course that was the first we played. I am not just a member there now, it is one of the great places we have ever experienced, and now to be bringing hundreds of people there and seeing it all over again through their eyes is an absolute dream. The memories of the first trip are still a huge part of my story over here.
I do not know how or why things happen, however I know I am truly blessed in so many ways. I also know that none of this would be possible without your instilling my curiosity, my desire to explore and my enjoyment of travel. I thank you, and everyone I take over here thanks you!
I also thank you for being a great role model as a father. I think it is obvious that I am most passionate about being a dad. You and I are different people in quite a few ways, but I think we make each other better. There are times when I get too involved in watching over my kids and worrying, then I think about how you let me know that you were there and keeping an eye on things, but gave me enough rope to learn by experience. I believe that this is what has made me resilient and resourceful.
This has been an amazing life thus far and I expect it to continue to grow, I can’t wait to watch my kids grow up and become adults, I only hope that they enjoy life and thrive on the experiences and opportunities that are out there. So far so good!
Love you dad, and again, THANKS!
Brian

Good matches yesterday. All even going into the singles matches tomorrow at Dornoch Struie.
I got to watch the shot of the trip when Georgio Gianoulis was in heavy rough, hisnopponents were stone dead for birdie and Georgio pitched in for eagle. Spectacular golf shot.

Great fun and some wonderful shot making by all. We had a nice squall roll through during the round giving the athletes a feel for what Scotland weather can be.
