One of my favorite Disney character restaurants will be re-opening after a 4 year long closure!

1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be re-opening April 10th for breakfast & dinner featuring Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana! Along with a refreshed dining room and the new character meet-and-greets, there will be special magical touches throughout the restaurant.

I’m back home after a whirlwind few days at Universal Orlando Resort and I have so much to share with you! The holidays at UOR are going to be incredible and there are so many exciting events planned!! I was even lucky enough to meet the Grinch, which if you are on social media, you KNOW his antics have gone crazy viral! 🤣 It was also wonderful spending time with my teammate Michelle and meeting other travel advisors from across the country!

I’m so appreciative for all the support of my agency, Whimsical Wishes Travel Concierge, and for the incredible Universal Business Development team for their hospitality, energy and excitement for all things Universal!

The minions have taken over!! 🍌

Yesterday I was able to visit Universal Orlando Resort’s all new Minions Land and it was so fun! The details and design were incredible, and it really made you feel like you were completely immersed in the Minions world!

Here you can blast your way to supervillain stardom in the new Villain-Con Minion Blast attraction, visit Minion Cafe where mischief (and the teeny-tiniest bananas) are always on the menu, enjoy a sweet treat at Bake My Day and even meet Gru’s daughters, Margo and Edith!

This is a can’t miss for any Minions fan!

Psst, I have some secrets to share...here are my favorite things about Universal Orlando Resort:

✴️ Express pass
This is my top favorite, when you add Universal Express access to your theme park admission, you get to skip the regular lines at most of your favorite rides and attractions. So you can fit way more fun into your day! If you stay in one of the premier resorts, it's complimentary!

🎢The proximity of things
Did you know you can open a can of soda and walk from Islands of Adventure to Universal Studios and still not be done with your drink by the time you make it to the gates?

🍽Staying club level
The value, convenience and experience of this is so amazing- don't forget to add it to your package! You can save money by having this, take snacks for the parks, grab breakfast before you head out for the day!

🏝The laid back feeling
Being able to stroll or take a leisurely boat ride over to CityWalk to enjoy the many restaurants, fun and shopping is the best! There is something for everyone!

The kid in me was SO excited to meet Max in his Powerline jacket and sunglasses today in Hollywood Studios! He was meeting alongside Goofy by the Grand Avenue entrance of Star Wars: Galaxy Edge!

Have you ever heard of the Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt offered at select Walt Disney World resorts?

Wilderness Lodge offers a two-part hunt that takes you all over the lodge and Boulder Ridge, the Disney Vacation Club sister resort, hunting out hidden mickeys in the artwork, stonework and decor. It was so fun to slow down and take in all of the intentional designs inserted into the resort and the activity lasted us about 30-45 minutes (some Mickeys were VERY well hidden 🤣)!

This activity is completely FREE and upon completion, my kids were given a souvenir button and stickers! Such a great way to spend downtime at the resort!

TRON Lightcycle / Run!

Today I was lucky enough to ride Walt Disney World’s newest attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run through a Disney Vacation Club Member special preview event!

On TRON, you climb aboard your very own Lightcycle and take off on a high-speed adventure, racing against the Grid’s most menacing Programs. This ride is not for the faint of heart as the launch tops off at 60 mph and is Disney’s fastest coaster at any of their parks. The ride was so unbelievably fun and my entire family loved it. It is a great addition to Magic Kingdom and you have to see if for yourself when it opens to the public April 4th!

After a few nonstop park days, we are starting the morning off with some pool time! The pool at Hard Rock Hotel is such a vibe - fun music, an awesome water slide and poolside waiters ready to bring you your favorite frozen cocktail or pool snack! My kids love that they can hear the music piped in underwater when they dive with their goggles! 🌞 🌴

I have limited photos of my amazing day at a Volcano Bay, but that is because I put my phone away and enjoyed the day with my family! We rented a locker, stored all of our valuables and just went from attraction with zero waiting! We took advantage of Early Park Admission and rode Krakatau Aquacoaster 3 times in a row! By 1pm we had rode most rides, enjoyed a delicious lunch and spent time in the Fearless River! It was a great day followed by a transfer over to our favorite Universal Orlando Resort hotel - Hard Rock!

One of the best perks of staying at Cabana Bay is it’s proximity to Volcano Bay! There is a walking path and resort guest entrance and it took us less than 5 minutes to get from our room to the entrance! It’s a beautiful day today and I can’t wait to experience the best water park in Orlando!
