We built The Sycamore trying to replicate the historic original home that once stood there. The new house is wider than the original and the historic commission/neighbors did not want a sun porch so we had to make some edits on the design. From my research I believe the house burnt down sometime in the 1970s. See last page- an old newspaper ad to rent the former house. 🗞

Did you know? We renovate our own properties! We have a history with each and every one. Some homes are historic and some are newly built by our sister company, Rowe House LLC. Some we have lived in and some are 'really good friends'. We actually almost sold this home several years ago until a neighbor suggested that we use it as a short-term rental while we had it for sale. Sometimes it's the chance conversations that change the trajectory of your life. ☺️
