What a pleasure we had hosting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' delegation from the European cinema and TV industry, while they visited Israel!

The group met with members of Israel’s entertainment sector to explore potential for innovative collaboration. They also had the opportunity to connect with survivors of the October 7th attack who shared their stories and experiences.

Here are some moments from their week, meeting with former member of Knesset, Dr. Einat Wilf; Film maker, songwriter and actress, Shaylee Atary, who also survived the October 7th attack on Kfar Aza; and a meetup with Israeli producers and journalists.

We were honored to host the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' delegation from the US cinema and TV industry, during their visit to Israel.
The group met with journalists, leaders, and survivors of the October 7th attack who shared their stories and experiences. They also connected with professionals in Israel’s entertainment sector, exploring opportunities for creative collaboration.
Here are some moments from their week, meeting with Israeli rapper and singer Jimbo J, Emily Frances - news anchor for I24News and Lev Kreitman, Nova Festival survivor and hero from Jaffa terrorist attack.

Boosting evangelical tourism in Israel - we have started ✈

As part of the effort to reinvigorate the tourism industry in Israel, we are focusing at this time on maximizing the potential in the markets of Israel sympathizers.

The ministerial delegation, led by the Minister of Tourism Haim Katz, is currently taking part today in NRB, the leading convention for evangelical media in the USA, held in Nashville, Tennessee.

In the presence of approximately 4000 members of the media, our clear message to the participants is "Israel is safe for tourism". In his speech, the minister thanked the evangelical community for its support of Israel during this period and in general, and explained that most of the Christian tourist areas are operating as usual, and the safety of tourists is a top Israeli priority. During the convention, the ministerial delegation will meet with a series of leading bodies in the community - including television networks, the media, and travel agencies - and will promote collaborations to increase evangelical tourism in Israel.

כחלק מהמאמץ לאישוש ענף התיירות בארץ, אנו מתמקדים בתקופה זו במיצוי הפוטנציאל בשווקים של אוהדי ישראל. משלחת המשרד בראשות השר חיים כץ, משתתפת היום ב-NRB, הכנס המוביל לכלי תקשורת אוונגלים בארה"ב, שנערך בנאשוויל, טנסי.

במעמד כ-4000 אנשי תקשורת, המסר הברור שלנו למשתתפים הוא "ישראל בטוחה לתיירות". בנאומו, הודה השר לקהילה האוונגלית על תמיכתה בישראל בתקופה הזו ובכלל, והסביר כי מרבית אזורי התיירות הנוצריים מתנהלים כבשגרה, וביטחון התיירים בראש סדר העדיפויות הישראלי. במהלך היריד, צוות המשרד ייפגש עם שורה של גופים מובילים בקהילה - כולל רשתות טלוויזיה, כלי תקשורת וסוכנויות תיירות - ויקדם שיתופי פעולה להגברת התיירות האוונגלית בישראל.

We had the pleasure to host, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a delegation of senior journalists from all around the world that visited Israel and participated in at Tel Aviv University.

Israel is ranked 7th place in the AI global index and continues to bring cutting-edge technologies to the world.

The delegation visited Kibbutz Kfar Aza that was attacked on October 7th, met with the hostages' families, and toured Tel Aviv and Jerusalem's Old City.

Happy Tu BiShvat!!!
Tu BiShvat is a Jewish holiday occurring on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat (in 2024, Tu BiShvat begins at sunset on January 24 and ends in the evening of January 25).

It is also called Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot - literally "New Year of the Trees".

In contemporary Israel, the day is celebrated as an ecological awareness day, and trees are planted in celebration.

We also get to enjoy some lovely dried fruits!

This week we all have a very difficult time knowing this special family.
Uriah Bayer, a gentile resident of Maalot-Tarshicha.

Uriah, a reserve officer in the Maglan army unit, is a member of a German family who settled in Maalot specifically in order to try and atone for the crimes of the N***s by doing good for the Jewish people.
The family established a special sanatorium, Beit Eliezer, for Holocaust survivors which they have been running for decades out of a sense of mission and based on volunteerism, without trying to gain profit from the enterprise.

Volunteers come from Germany and other countries to care for the aging survivors.

Despite being gentiles and not being eligible for citizenship, all the members of the family volunteered to serve in the IDF in combat roles. Uriah was very seriously injured last week by shrapnel and died of his wounds Sunday.

May their blood be avenged.
