After nearly six years of helping to identify, develop, and promote nature-based assets throughout the state, with a special accomplishment being the leader in efforts to secure the state’s first International Dark Sky Park, Jenna will stay the course in helping Nebraska achieve big things. In this role, she will educate stakeholders of the importance of tourism as the state’s third largest grossing field, collaborate on statewide initiatives, and work to create an atmosphere of strength and unity within Nebraska’s dynamic tourism industry.

Visit Nebraska is seeking an Adventure Travel Specialist with a focus on Nebraska’s tourism industry - including but not limited to agritourism🌾, trails🚶‍♂️ and biking events🚲, birding🦆, water recreation🌊, and amateur sporting events⚽.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sustainable outdoor recreation, and an ability to develop and maintain relationships with people within the tourism industry, partnering agencies, and leaders throughout the state.

🌿 The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is soon accepting proposals for Watchable Wildlife Grants. These grants, funded by the Wildlife Conservation Fund, aim to enhance wildlife viewing and nature experiences across Nebraska. Projects can include wildlife viewing blinds, pollinator gardens, binoculars and more.

💵 Max award: $6,000
