Curry mee with clubbing entrance and a bouncer to control traffic. Please expect a long queue if you are a fan of their curry mee. No doubt they are one of Ipoh's best choices for curry mee but they are NOT the only ONE. Known to local as 'Ai ya! Don't go there la! They very ba bai!.😂

Big flavours comes in small pieces of Yong Tau Foo 😋. You will find these handmade delectables, Hakka Yong Tau Foo, in a small town @ Kanthan that will blow your mind. They also made the traditional Hakka Choy Pan which is hard to come by nowadays. Our grandmothers used to make the Choy Pan for us and we whack everything in a day. The foregone tradition is hard to come by.

An ordinary restaurant in a peaceful quiet town in Matang is well known for its teochew seafood porridge. You can opt for grouper, pomfret, shark meat or prawns. The seafood here is fresh as they are sourced from local fishermen. Yummy 😋

Recently, I did a recce trip on a mossy and moist jungle trail at Coral Hill (an alternative to famous mossy forest). On the way up, I am accompanied by mother nature's big trees and plants which are all covered by age old mosses. The whole trail is like walking on a soft trampoline, and it took about 30 mins to reach the top. Once at the top, I rest and enjoy the hill view overlooking Gunung Brinchang. It is advisable to use the same trail down as the original trail is slippery and steep. If you are into nature, this is the right place. Ping me ya! #cameronhighland #mossyforest #coralhill

Keeping the traditions

Unknown to most people, it is where old-world traditions are still able to thrive. Gopeng's authentic chicken porridge in the food court near the wet market. Its been a long time since I last ate this chicken porridge. It was the father's time and the son and daughter were assisting their father. Now the son and daughter has taken over and continued with the business. If you are passing by Gopeng or in Gopeng, do drop by and visit. One of the most authentic chicken porridge, like good old days!
