Travel Tip Tuesday! Disney World can be tiring, you do a lot of walking in the Florida heat. The last thing you want to do is wait for a bus or use the skyliner, which is when my family turns to Minnie Vans! They’re like using a Lyft however with the Disney touch! They will take anywhere on Disney Property and entertain you the entire way between conversation, TV, music and much more! Such a fun and personable way to make your way around Disney!

There’s so much more to do in Epcot outside rides, food and shows! Our kids LOVE the crafts that you can do, especially the glass art at Germany in the world showcase! The cast members here are amazing and there’s so many different pieces to choose from! Once complete they will take whatever piece you create to the kiln and ship it to you once complete!

One of my families favorite things to do is travel throughout the World Showcase at Epcot. With rising prices on flights it’s hard to get overseas to enjoy other countries as much as we would like to, and this fills that void!

Each country in the showcase has cast members from their actual countries! We love talking to them and learning about their lives and what it’s like back home! We also get to enjoy many different types of foods and desserts! Add amazing architecture, museum style showcases, shops and rides and you really feel like you’re in a different part of the world! Tuesday! I’ve had more and more clients ask me about the holidays at Disney, whether it be they’re tired of the cold weather in the north or just want to do something new. The big catch is they’re worried about the crowds.

I can tell you that there are windows where the crowds let up for a short window between Thanksgiving and Christmas and lead to such a wonderful time like my family had last year! the day where I take a question from one of you, my followers! Todays question is “I see you do a lot of character dining, and we really want to as well, but I’m worried about paying so much for my two year old to experience it when they don’t eat much.”

Tuesday! My family and I couldn’t be more excited to visit Disneyland Paris and Efteling this year! It’ll be amazing to share the experiences with you as we traverse new countries and lands finding new Magic as we go! Seeing Disney in a new setting and experiencing new events can always get your sense of wonder going. Then Efteling which developed a mysteriously beautiful and thrilling park out of the original fairy tales that maybe didn’t always have the happiest of endings!

Honestly nothing beats Spaceship Earth for me! The line is never long, the ride is 16 minutes getting to watch and learn how we have grown through the ages and all in air conditioning!

When it comes to Cruises more and more of my clients are asking if it’s something they would like. They have the fear of “I don’t want to be stuck on a boat for days on end”. We used to be one of those families until we took our first Disney Cruise on the Dream!

Monday! We’ve experienced many firework shows over the years at different Disney parks, however this was one of our most memorable. We finished up dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table and went downstairs to exit during the fireworks. They keep you under the castle while the show goes on for safety reasons, however, it created such a magical moment!

This is from the first time we stayed at the Beach Club back in 2021! I get asked a lot what some of my favorite hotels are and why. I absolutely love the Yacht Club/Beach Club hotels. They provide amazingly relaxing views in the evening, are walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and have one of the best pools on property! They make for an awesome relaxation day away from the parks with so much to do, including the Boardwalk right across the lake!

Monday! Also, Happy New Year post!

I get asked a lot about why I constantly bring up Core Memories in my post. To be honest I didn't even consider what a Core Memory was until we saw the original Inside Out. I then realized how many of these small moments matter more than you realize the older you get and how time slips away so fast. I have learned to treasure the time I have with my kids more than ever because out time is finite. Monday! This one will stick with me for quite some time, the moment my children raised their gingerbread house had been defeated by something much larger! In all seriousness though, the yearly gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian was something to truly witness (and smell). It really got us in the mood for the season! Then to top it off we stopped by Epcot to see their Spaceship Earth gingerbread sculpture which was equally as amazing!

Many of my clients think they have to be in a Disney Park to get to see and enjoy characters, however, this is certainly not true! Many hotels will have random meet and greets with characters during the day as well as many themed restaurants where you can meet both princesses and other characters!

My daughter’s favorite remains Storybook Dining at Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge! You get to meet with Snow White, The Evil Queen, D***y, but most importantly Grumpy! They also have fantastic food and some of the best dessert you can get!
