Did you know that you can travel from Legazpi to Naga by train and VV twice a day, early morning and evening.
The trip takes around 3 hours and there are some great views of Mayon Volcano along the way.

be sure to visit Matteas Kinilas in Tagas, Daraga to taste their Kinilas and Empanadas.
The empanadas are highly recommended.
Loop 1 and Loop 2 jeepneys pass right by there.
Daraga Tourist Inn is opposite Matteas Kinilas.

They say pictures paint a thousand words and so I want to share precious pictures of Papa over the years to show what he has been to us....a determined and ambitious young boy from the province, a hardworking and dedicated student and university leader, a devoted and supportive father, an endearing and extremely funny guy, a doting and playful lolo, an exceptional lawyer and public servant, an indefatiguable activist and defender, a fast learner and a dependable and true friend. Many have not seen how underneath the serious and stern exterior is a playful, funny, caring, sensitive man with a pusong mamon and magnanimous heart. Kaysarap balikan ang mga lumang retrato. Kung walang naidokumentong mga larawan ng nakalipas, walang mga maliligayang kwento sa kasalukuyan at makabuluhang diskusyon sa hinaharap. Katulad ng imaheng ito ng Parokya ng San Juan Bautista na nakunan noong dekada singkwenta. Isang makasaysayang pook-pamana na naging saksi sa napakaraming pangyayari sa lungsod ng Tabaco. Kamakailan ay malaking pinsala ang dinanas nito sa hagupit ng bagyong Rolly taong 2020. Dalawang taon makalipas ang masusing rehabilitasyon, ito'y muling bubuksan sa publiko. Higit pa sa mayamang kasaysayan nitong hatid, ay ang katotohanang ito na ang naging pangunahing tahanan ng pagsamba ng bawat Tabaqueño.
