Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge kicked off its 2023 season on March 11. One of the most anticipated additions to the park is the new Big Bear Mountain roller coaster, which lasts for nearly two minutes and runs along nearly 4,000 feet of track in the newly expanded Wildwood Grove section of the park.

Even though Anakeesta visitors either ride the Chondola or a Ridge Rambler to get to the top of the mountain and back down again, they are able to ride up and down the mountain as many times as they wish as part of their admission.

Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge has big plans for its guests this summer. Their annual Summer Celebration runs June 25 through July 31 and features a brand-new outdoor show called Dollywood’s Sweet Summer Nights. It features dancing in the streets of Wildwood Grove and a finale featuring hundreds of drones telling an animated story in the skies overhead.
