Watching and waiting. The shadow people Like figures in the sand. Spaces and faces. Not then. Nor when. Just now and Zen
This set of kidney shaped constructions found in the sands of Venice Beach were built in 2006. A few generations on and its still going strong. Dancing and juggling and singing comes and goes and is missed. Surfers still surf. The muscles seemed to have long gone. But this park in the palms and on the sand holds them all. Like ghosts the shadows follow. And its the way they follow creating subtleties and nuances. The boarders speak a language too cool for my blood. So I just watch and wait.

Right. We are back in Venice Beach. Staying at the Venice Suites. It is a very charming building with a Hitchcockian flavor to it. And in theme with the cinematography of the series Goliath written produced and directed by Billy Bob Thornton I particularly like the fire escapes. Much better for photographing from than the terrace.
Its a world away from the place in Manhattan Beach. Reddish brick building with Venice pedigree. Lie and the living tents have been removed taking away the pain and suffering to be dumped somewhere else.

Capturing Darth Vader
It's a journey of love .....2 Jedis set an impossible task to seek and destroy Darth Vader. The scene is set. McMac and Marie. Somewhere in a galaxy far far away. The wind is blowing hard.
Then a shriek from Marie,
'Darth Vader!'
That was enough.
Off goes McMac, armed with an M100.
The chase unfolds.
Darth looks tired.
