Coldest run I’ve ever done...6°F. Icy eyelashes, frozen face. I almost quit after a mile because I was uncomfortably cold. But I warmed up a bit and got 4 miles in. All worth it to run with the Tetons in view 😍

Painting the bus turned out to be a harder, longer process than we expected. We made some mistakes, learned a lot & made many trips to the hardware store. Was it worth it? Final product post coming!

A confluence is the junction of 2 rivers. This particular confluence is where the Havasu Creek & Colorado River merge. My main squeeze @todd__pope and I hiked 4.5 hrs from the Havasupai tribal land to this point in the Grand Canyon National Park. Mountain biking through the Uinta Mountains was one of the coolest things I've done. The scenery was spectacular, the climbing was moderately challenging and the downhill was like biking with skis. A formal study results indicating consistent blood pressure decreases in “fire-with-sound” conditions. “Findings confirm that hearth and campfires induce relaxation as part of a multisensory, absorptive, and social experience,” wrote Department of Antropology researchers from U of Alabama.
