A short video to show part of the hike down from Mt Elbert. Rocky and steep! #14er #colorado #hiking #adventure
Occasionally while hiking we would have some brief musical entertainment from one of the porters radios. #africa #womenwhohike #mtkili #staywild
Painting the bus turned out to be a harder, longer process than we expected. We made some mistakes, learned a lot & made many trips to the hardware store. Was it worth it? Final product post coming!
A confluence is the junction of 2 rivers. This particular confluence is where the Havasu Creek & Colorado River merge. My main squeeze @todd__pope and I hiked 4.5 hrs from the Havasupai tribal land to this point in the Grand Canyon National Park. It was an adventurous day I'll never forget. #explore #hike #grandcanyon #supai #travel
We came across this guy (or girl?) yesterday while doing trail work. I 💜🐢 #nature #wildlife #staywild
Monday morning vibes. Setting the tone for a kick a** week! #optoutside #blazer #trails #nature #runner
Cool video of a manatee eating in the swampy waters of a Florida canal. Nice ending of Blazer jumping in, nearly pulling me in and scaring away the manatee. #nature #camping #floridalife #dogsofinstagram
I loved how desolate and quiet Death Valley was. And so beautiful. We did a short scramble up this mountain, which was the sharpest rock I've ever seen. #adventure #explore #deathvalley #travel
Hard to beat the sounds of a waterfall. #waterfallwednesday #nofilter #mtwhitney #hike #staywild
Mountain biking through the Uinta Mountains was one of the coolest things I've done. The scenery was spectacular, the climbing was moderately challenging and the downhill was like biking with skis. I think it may now be my favorite winter sport. #utahisrad #beutahful #mountains #mtblife #staywildwoman

Wind blowing through the tress is like music to my ears and balance to my soul. 💨 🌲 #justlisten #windinthetrees
Did you know that the warm glow and crackling sounds of a campfire has been proven to be good for your health??
A formal study results indicating consistent blood pressure decreases in “fire-with-sound” conditions. “Findings confirm that hearth and campfires induce relaxation as part of a multisensory, absorptive, and social experience,” wrote Department of Antropology researchers from U of Alabama.
Now, get that campfire going! 🔥
I'm constantly reminding myself to slow down, enjoy the moment and soak in my surroundings. I almost passed up the amazing sunrise this morning to hurry up & start the day. So glad I didn't. #bepresent #mothernature #sunraysfordays #optoutside #staywildwoman #seizetheday
