7pm-Romesightseeing.net: there were actually ship battles in the Colosseum? They were called “Naumachiae” and it actually happened just a few times (maybe just 5 times) in all Colosseum’s history. Sometimes it was a historic reenactment and other times, they’d actually put criminals already condemned to death to perform in these naval battles. Imagine this enormous pool filled with ships and gore entertainment!⛵ 🛶

is one of our favorite districts in Rome. It has rich nightlife and many interesting sightseeing spots such as the Pyramid of Cestius and the Testaccio market (not opening on Sundays!). Take a look at the treasures you can find around this place :D

Testaccio is a district that has not yet been discovered by many tourists, but is definitely worth it for the nightlife.
