The official Drink Around the World Page! How about a little history? There were, in fact, many before us and there will be many after us.

But first, let's get something out of the way - We were not the first to Drink Around the World (DATW). The process of having a drink at each of the 11 countries around the World Showcase at Epcot is rumored to of actually come about from Disney cast members blowing off steam. 11 drinks is no easy feat by any measure. This is referred to as "Drinking Around the World", but thats not what DATW is t

o us. It started as that, it just turned into so much more after. In 2005, a small group of friends and family, most of which were easing into their first year of legal drinking, decided that DATW was the ideal way to celebrate. As one of the attendees of that trip stated, "We were in our drinking prime." We set off to challenge ourselves. We even had some T-shirts made to commemorate the trip. It became an annual tradition. Something we get to think back on, look forward to, and laugh at often. We may not of done it first, but we definitely do it the best.

Some behind the scene mock ups and hand sketches, as we fumble about on our way to the final design on the 2014 shirt. Designing these shirts is a lot of fun, but requires a good deal of back and forth between the design team, the artists, and the print company. We're very lucky to have a few talented and creative folks, who are opinionated and keep the shirts fresh every year.
