Hello Fellow Democrats,

The Burleson County Democratic Party
is actively accepting contributions
to sponsor a scholarship program
to benifit three local young adults,
three seniors- one senior from each of our ISD’s.

The scholarships will be awarded on
Saturday, June 15 as a part of the
2024 Juneteenth Celebration in Caldwell.

To win the scholarship,
students will write a 250 word essay
about how the scholarship of $250.00
will benefit their future education.

Essays will be judged by the local Juneteenth Association.

This is a wonderful opportunity
to give local young adults
starting out in the world a hand up.

The College Station Police Department is looking for information on the location of 12 year old Je’nnaela Durainne Cummings. Je'nnaela was last seen at a residence in the 3100 blk of Norton Lane, College Station, Brazos County, TX at approximately 12:00 pm on Wednesday September 13, 2023. It is believed that she is possibly still in the local area with older, unrelated person(s) and is at risk of serious bodily injury. If you have information, please contact the College Station Police Department at (979) 764-3600. Let's bring her home tonight!
