Tyra Natural Reserve: A Legacy of Conservation and Partnership
👉 Just a year ago, Tyra Natural Reserve was but a dream. Today, it stands as a testament to what passion, commitment, and collaboration can achieve. This journey began with the visit of a group of nature enthusiasts who, upon discovering the rich biodiversity of the Chocó Andino, felt compelled to act. Their love for this unique ecosystem and trust in our foundation inspired them to take a bold step: to help create a sanctuary where nature thrives and conservation takes precedence.
🦫 Tyra was established with a singular purpose—preserving biodiversity in a world where ecosystems are under constant threat. Every tree, every stream, and every animal within the reserve plays a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. This space is not only a haven for wildlife but also a hub for education and sustainable ecotourism, ensuring a future where iconic species like the puma and ocelot can roam freely in their natural habitat.
🦜 This mission would not be possible without the invaluable support of partners like Neblina Forest. Their dedication and shared vision have been instrumental in transforming Tyra into a thriving reserve. Together, we have worked tirelessly to acquire and protect each hectare, creating a refuge for countless species and a beacon of hope for conservation efforts worldwide.
🌳 We extend our deepest gratitude to Neblina Forest for their unwavering partnership and commitment. Their collaboration has not only strengthened our mission but also enriched the story of Tyra Natural Reserve.
🙌 Now, we invite you to join this collective effort. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to expanding this sanctuary and securing a future for the Chocó Andino’s extraordinary biodiversity. Together, let’s build a legacy of conservation and stewardship that will resonate for generations.

Neblina Forest is committed to the conservation of biodiversity and the protection of threatened ecosystems in South America, supporting projects that make a difference for local fauna and flora.
Among the initiatives we support is the partnership with the Fundación Sembrando Esperanza and its Tayra Reserve, located in northwestern Ecuador. This reserve protects vital areas of the Chocó forest, one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and an important refuge for endemic and endangered species.
At the Tayra Reserve, Neblina Forest contributes to the protection of various species, including Chocó endemic birds, pumas, mountain coatis, and other native species that depend on this unique habitat to survive.
By supporting these efforts, we work to ensure that future generations can know and appreciate the beauty and richness of these ecosystems. Our mission is to connect people with nature and inspire the protection of our natural resources.

One of South America's largest mammals, the Brazilian tapir (Tapirus terrestris) is an icon of our Pantanal tours. Known for its unique appearance with a short, trunk-like nose, this gentle giant is both fascinating and essential to the ecosystem.
As a “gardeners of the forest,” tapirs help disperse seeds, promoting growth and maintaining the health of their natural habitat. Spotting a tapir in its natural environment is truly an unforgettable experience for wildlife enthusiasts.
Join us in the heart of the Pantanal to witness this incredible creature and discover the biodiversity that makes this region so remarkable!

A very nice friend and customer was this last weekend scouting some new areas on the Atlantic Forest - Brazil. I am sure he had lots of fun. !
On our last expedition, we connected two great biomes and incredible destinations: the Pantanal and the Amazon Rainforest - Brazil. After amazing sightings of jaguars and birds in the Pantanal, we headed to Juruena National Park, the third-largest national park in Brazil, a true paradise!
We were lucky enough to spot a 9-month-old Harpy Eagle chick in its nest! It was an unforgettable experience, carried out in partnership with our local friends at Harpy Eagle Tours. These were intense days during a very special tour that will leave many fond memories.
