If I were to Google "Shop Til You Drop" I have NO doubt a photo of these ladies would appear. Sigele and Amigas had to have increased Cabo Verde's national GDP in their 11 days here. Aveeeee, can these women SHOP 😮😆! From Praia to Cidade Velha to Tarrafal to Palmeiras to Santa Maria, these women SHOPPED...and then shopped some more. When making a second intense round through my Kuzas, one accidentally called it an auction, and it kind of felt like one 😂. In all seriousness, their passionate support of local businesses and people including my Kuzaz di Cabo Verde Collection was unlike anything I had ever witnessed in my almost 11 years of A Vontade. THIS is the kind of tourism from which a developing country like Cabo Verde truly benefits.
