Muppets 3D will close to make way for Monsters Inc, but the Muppets will be taking over Rock’n’Rollercoaster!

Enter the world of Monsters, Inc. when it is added to the south side of Hollywood Studios, while The Muppets move to Sunset Boulevard.

Looking for a little outdoor fun on the Disney Magic? The Wide World of Sports has you covered!

Up on Deck 10 at the very front of the ship you will find the Sports Deck. They have basketball courts, ping pong tables, and foosball. It’s a great spot to burn off some energy. We were the only ones up here in the afternoon, it was a little busier in the evening.

Another bonus - the view is great from up here!!

Today on the Disney Magic we are going to look at lounges and bars!

The Magic has several lounges and bars on board, all with different theming. These areas are often used for activities during the day (and sometimes at night too). Each lounge has its own unique menu, so you’ll find something different at each place! My favorite was the Irish pub, but I thought all of the options were great.

Welcome back to the Disney Magic!!

Today we are taking at peek at the buffet on the ship - Cabanas.

Cabanas is open for breakfast and lunch with countless options every day. This was our first stop when we boarded the ship, and we ate breakfast here each day as well.

Some of my favorite options were fried rice and lo mein for lunch and breakfast potatoes and churro waffles for breakfast! You definitely won’t leave Cabanas hungry!!

Can you think of a better view?! There’s something so wonderful about seeing your Disney Cruise Line ship in the distance while you are in port. Such a great sight!! ❤️❤️

Big Thunder Mountain at Walt Disney World will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment on January 6th 2025. It will reopen in 2026, no exact date just yet.

This is one of my top 3 attractions in Magic Kingdom, so I’m sad to hear it will be closed for over a year. However, I’m very intrigued to see what changes they make during the refurbishment!

I was talking to a friend about Steakhouse 71 recently, and it had me thinking that I need to give this spot a shoutout.

Steakhouse 71 is located on the first floor of the Contemporary Resort. We’ve eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and loved each meal!

My absolute favorite though is the seasonal pancakes for breakfast. You HAVE to try these! We’ve had cinnamon roll and pumpkin before. Both were amazing!

After a great breakfast at Steakhouse 71, you can take the walking path over to Magic Kingdom. Sounds like a wonderful morning to me!

I’ve been holding on to these pictures forever and am finally posting them!!

We’ve had the chance to do the Magic Kingdom dessert party twice now, once with our kids and once without. The dessert party was before the fireworks, then we were seated in a reserved grassy area to see the show.

There were PLENTY of dessert options, plus beer and wine are included. My kids loved the cookie decorating station!

The fireworks viewing area gives you a nice spot to see the fireworks without too many people blocking you and without having to hold your spot for an hour (something I definitely appreciated!)

This dessert party was a fun little splurge, I would recommend trying it at least once. I don’t think you need to book the party every time you visit, but it is nice for a special occasion!
