In 1993 Mickey’s Toontown opens at Disneyland!

Although this area of the park has seen some changes since the opening 32 years ago, I still think it’s so adorable 😍 😍

Let’s talk about Club Level!

On our recent stay at Wilderness Lodge, we stayed Club Level and loved it. When you stay Club Level you have access to the Club Level lounge which has various food offerings throughout the day.

In the morning you’ll find breakfast, snacks in the afternoon, appetizers / small plates in the evening, and desserts to end the day. We ate breakfast in the lounge every day and made sure to stop for desserts each night.

The Club Level lounge also has dedicated Cast Members that are available to help Club Level guests with anything they may need.

Foodie Friday!

Today I want to talk about 1900 Park Fare. I mentioned this character dining meal when it reopened last year, but I wanted to post about it again after my own experiences.

Located on the first floor of the Grand Floridian, this character meal is buffet style. Sometimes with buffets the food quality can be lacking, but we really enjoyed it! I think I got 3 helpings of cheesy potatoes 😂 the breakfast pizza was also a big hit.

The strawberry soup is what this location is known for, don’t skip it! It’s sort of like a strawberry smoothie in a bowl. Very tasty!

1900 Park Fare is open for breakfast and dinner. We had an 11:55 reservation, and it was a perfect choice for lunch on our non park day. I would definitely dine here again!

Jambo from Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Right after Thanksgiving we enjoyed a stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I wanted to share my pictures with you!

This resort is one of my favorites - wonderful theming, great dining options, awesome pools, so much to love!! We had a savannah view room (I’ll share pictures of that in another post), and loved watching the animals every morning.

The holiday decor is beautiful at Animal Kingdom Lodge, definitely a great resort pick for the holiday season.

The holiday season is over, but I still have more to share!!

In November we attended the holiday special event at Hollywood Studios - Jollywood Nights. It runs from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am on select nights throughout the holiday season. This is the second year this event has run, and my first year attending.

This event has tons of holiday entertainment. Ice skaters, fireworks, stage shows, jazz singers, so much going on! If you are an entertainment fan, this is the perfect event for you. Attraction wait times were shorter as well, we waited about ten minutes for Slinky Dog around 11:00 pm.

I definitely enjoyed this event and would attend again. It was just the right thing to put us in the holiday spirit!

Boardwalk resort had this adorable gingerbread house in their lobby for the holidays this year, plus a beautiful tree out in the courtyard.

The resorts at Walt Disney World always have the best holiday decor. Would you stay at the Boardwalk for the holidays? I know I would!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the best way to get into the holiday spirit!

I love the parade for this special event. It’s so magical! Plus there are party exclusive treats, attraction overlays, dance parties, special characters, and cookie stations! What’s not to love?!
