Although this is a cottage on an island, there is access to the cottage by road. Park in the parking lot, and take a short nature walk on the path, then over a foot bridge. Honey Harbour is an area known to have the windswept pines and great fishing. INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The cottage interior
provides an authentic cottage experience. The kitchen is fully appointed with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Enjoy your meals in the small dinette area or on the wrap around deck , or the deck on the boathouse. The bedrooms offer (1)2 double bunk beds and (2)one queen sized bed. Blankets and pillows are provided. The washroom provides toilet, sink, full sized tub and shower. Electric heat or the wood burning fireplace is perfect for a chilly fall night. Some weeks still available in July and August. EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The cottage has a wrap around deck, nice view of the water. There is a boat house which has a deck on top of it which also can be used for lounging and taking in the nice water view. Take the paddle boat for a tour of South Bay. ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Park your car and take a water taxi for a daytrip or camping excursion,hiking, on nearby Beausoliel Island in Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Drive to Midland, and take the Miss Midland 30,000 islands boat cruise. Retire by the campfire to watch the sunset over the water, listen for the call of the loon, or simply revel in the silence of some Ontario’s true wilderness. RATE INFORMATION
