My Story
Welcome to my journey as a Doula at Brave Journey Doula Services. My name is Priya Lad, and I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am a licensed nurse and have been practicing in pediatrics for nearly 5 years. I moved to Dallas back in 2016 with my husband and we have made Prosper, Texas our home. We are now a family of three with the addition of our beautiful baby boy Ari Lad. Through the experiences of my own pregnancy and labor, I have been inspired to help woman through their journey by embracing and understanding how rewarding labor can be. Working as a nurse for many years has taught me many skills to support and help others while providing care. As a Doula my goal is to help mothers accomplish their goals throughout labor, discover and overcome their fears, and educate them with a natural and medical approach to labor. As a daughter, wife, and mother my goal is to create your journey, your way!
