We are excited to bring you the 9th Edition of Bring Back The Green in the Park.
Our initiative “Bring Back the Green in the Park” was instituted in 2017 by three companies namely Mishono Apparel, Aromah The Restaurant and Skippy Adventures Tours and Events . We saw the need to fence and protect The Nairobi National Park through planting trees along the greenline which starts from Carnivore all the way to Mlolongo.
So far we have managed 15,000 park trees.
Our drives’ success has been as a result of strong partnerships that we have been seeking over the years.
Our main partner Nairobi Green lines’ mandate is to protect the park greenline. They have been paramount to our 98% tree survival rate; At a fee of @ Kshs.300, they recommend the tree species, organize hole preparation and water them thereafter for 3 years until the seedling is able to stand on its own. This realistic survival plan is our greatest success story.
We have the project every 3months and our next shall be on.
