I’m a world traveler, vagabond, and mistake prone backpacker. When I was 22 I went backpacking in Ireland for a couple weeks. The first time I traveled overseas was awe-inspiring and completely changed my life forever. From that moment on I have been a wanderer and traveling has become my obsession. I have made more mishaps than I care to mention. I’ve had more misadventures than I can recall. No
matter how prepared I thought I was, at some point things would spin out of my control (insert meltdown here). Backpacking can be very random, and I’ve made enough mistakes to rival a John Grisham novel.,
Weathering all these storms finally got me thinking (something that does happen on rare occasion). I came to the conclusion that maybe I wasn’t the only one hitting all the bumps on the road. All the sticky situations, painful headaches, and hurt pride could help other travelers avoid all the mistakes I’ve been making for years. Maybe my examples could be lessons to other travelers. No one’s perfect; every traveler makes mistakes,and has moments of discouragement and days that are rough . So whether you’re an experienced traveler, or someone dabbling with the idea of taking a trip, no worries; I am here to show you how to recover from traveling mistakes, because, believe me, I have been there.

Well, as quick as I landed back home in Sweden I left. Headed back to home in the USA to visit my mom, brother, and dog for a month. I’ve super excited. But already missing Europe and my Swedish family and friends.
And it’s been a crazy trek. I’ve spent almost 4 days in the airport at this point. Traveling from Malta to Budapest, Budapest to Helsingborg. Helsingborg to Copenhagen. Copenhagen to Lisbon to New York to DC and finally about to board the last flight to Columbus.

I’ve had a blast the last week exploring Malta with some long time travel friends. I’ve lived with these girls in New Zealand, hang out in the London Underground for hours, and had countless drunken nights. It’s always a blast catching up with them! And I can’t wait until our next reunion. and

I have to come clean…. The worst was the June Beetle 🪲 ….. although the Hot Sauce 🥵 at the end nearly killed me. And to be even more honest (and I can’t believe I writing this sentence) the Beaver A**l Gland Vodka wasn’t half bad. I’d have it in a Martini 🍸. Shaken not Stirred.

NEW VIDEO: I've done a lot of random things traveling, like driving 1/3 the world and running with the bulls.
But I've always wanted to leave everything up to chance. Throw a dart at a map, and travel there. Buy a plane ticket to somewhere random at the airport.
Those things are still on my bucket list.... but last weekend a got a little closer to this random travel style.
For 24 hours in Copenhagen, everything is up coin flips! (There might even be a tattoo involved)

Talk about a luxury hostel! I just spent a few days at the in Copenhagen. (my new favorite hostel in ). The hostel has a kitchen, game room, and WILD-looking beds. But what really takes it to the next level are the heated pool, gym, and CINEMA! Yep, you read that right, this hostel has a cinema.
The hostel is only a couple of minutes' walk from the Central Station so you can easily get around the city. And within walking distance of the meatpacking district making some of the best food in Copenhagen within mouth reach.
Next time, you are passing through Copenhagen, treat yourself to this amazing hostel!
