Runbhoomi - Nature First

Runbhoomi Races is the most important run that you will ever participate in, as with every step you will feel that it is more challenging and also the terrain different from your regular races in the city, alongside race you will also experience the beauty and ruggedness of nature both at once. As said about the tough terrain and thrilling running experience, our purpose is to bring people closer to nature, therefore, and realize that 'Nature Conservation' is the utmost important thing, 'If we don't care about our environment no one ever will'.

With Runbhoomi races it's our attempt at spreading awareness about nature conversation we want people who participate in this event are people who really care about their own being, gives priority to health and the most important environment. This event is also a platform not only to discuss the biggest problems that entire humanity is facing today i.e. 'Global Warming' & 'Climate Change' but also to get workable solutions that will help us in aspects of Nature Conservation. It's an effort to bring forth conservation of nature by spreading awareness about climatic changes, taking practical steps to mitigate deforestation and increasing carbon footprint.

The first race of Runbhoomi races series was held at Mandangad, a small lush green hamlet in midst of nature serving as a perfect natural backdrop for this endeavor. This year it is planned in the most favorable weekend destination of Mumbaikars & Punekers, Lonavala.

Lonavala being the destination, our runners will explore the beauty of the magnificent natural terrain. A mix of exciting uphill run on mountains, swamps, river crossings, steep climbs, and descents. Beautiful villages and green fields mark the trail. Expertly placed in the unique terrain, Runbhoomi features an exciting Indian-theme race festival where people meet to discuss the issues and solutions, these races not only challenge your physical and mental boundaries but also refreshes you with music, entertainment and catering to your gastronomical desires with local delicacies.

About Rajmachi trek:

Rajmachi trek is done to Udhewadi a village in Karjat region of Raigad, the village Rajmachi crest has two sustained structures - the Shrivardhan post and Manoranjan fortress which has great history. These are two posts which were constructed by Shivaji Emperor in 17th century. It is one of the best trekking destinations near to Mumbai and Pune. Rajmachi stronghold is a vital post sitting above Borghat, which was a verifiable exchange course. Rajmachi can be climbed by means of 2 ways, the extreme course from Kondivade village from Karjat and the other simple yet long route is from Lonavala. In monsoon season this place is loaded with monster waterfalls and greenery.
