Anybody interested- you have only 2 days!
This was my original post:-
Llanelli & District Riding Club
Llanelli & District Riding club was established in 1967.
This year sees its 56th year.
Sadly the current committee are unable to support the club any further and are looking for a team who can inject life back into a traditional Riding club.
The new team would need to consist of A Chairperson, A Treasurer and A Secretary.
The field is secured on an annual rent.
Steel lockups are available at the club field, together with equipment.
The club has a bank account.
The club is to continue to run as a community led organisation. You will need to afford the annual rent, annual insurance and knowledge to run 1 to 2 events a year at the club field which is the main source of income.
We as a committee will be stepping down and away from the club, but will be at hand to give advice and experience if needed.
The new committee members will need to take over May 1st 2023.
We have held many years of showing, jumping and general equine events. We have had much success with attendance and we are known to have always offered a warm welcome to everyone showing much respect to our older members who were known to have started the club.
If you feel you would like this enjoyable commitment of running the club, we are holding a meeting in the Diplomat Thursday 13th April, 2023 at 6.00pm please come along.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Alison Bennett on 07800580196 for an informal chat.
The current team can offer assistance with schedule writing, judges information, purchasing rosettes etc and the general running if required.
We Look forward to hearing from you to keep the tradition of Llanelli & District riding club continuing. Please feel free to share this information.
Tina Jones
Chairperson.
